Indoor blooming plants encompass a wide range of plants that includes everything from orchids to poinsettias. Most indoor blooming plants do best with bright but indirect light, which means they are not placed directly in front of a south or west-facing window.
Benefits that Bloom
Nothing brightens a room, lifts one’s mood or makes an indoor space feel more welcoming then indoor blooming plants. One or two blooming plants inside the home are all it takes. Place the plants where you will see them most often such as on the kitchen counter.
Create a Blooming Display
Using a large container designed for indoor use, fill it with indoor green plants. Also “plant” an empty 7” plastic pot that has drainage holes in it. Drop an indoor blooming plant into this empty container, giving you a beautiful indoor garden year-round. Replace the blooming plant as needed. This same idea can be done on a smaller scale using a 4” blooming plant.
