This has been said before, but it is worth repeating: houseplants are more than just décor. It’s been proven that you live a better, healthier life with houseplants. So why not bring a little green in to your workspace and home? Houseplants are easy and vary in style and form to fit the space. Try decorating with gourds or pumpkins in October and add turkey feathers for Thanksgiving. Don’t forget to add a few cacti and succulents too.
Remember to plant your bulbs for next year. They are easy to do – just dig, drop and done!
I just read about a farmer near Boston who loves to raise big pumpkins and enters them in a contest at his local fair. This year he had a monster submission. 2000 lbs., – about the size of a small car! The current record is 1815.5 lbs., and he hopes to break that record. I wonder how many pies that would make?
